MAC Mens basketball win 113-66 against Link Year Prep

The Mineral Area College mens basketball team steamrolled Link Year Prep 113-66 to improve to 2-0 on the season. MAC raced to a 40-8 in the first half thanks in part to the strong play from Malevy (mal-uh-vie) Leons….

Leons scored all 13 of his points in the first half. Angelo Stuart led the Cardinals with 22 points with several second half steals and layups. Mineral Area dished out 29 assists, seven from Ja’Quaye James, and turned it over only ten times. Link Year turned it over 29 times with 14 assists.
Cometre Chambers scored 27 in the loss for the Lions.
