MAC Women Travel To Sedalia For First Regional Classic

(SEDALIA, Mo.) – Now at 4-1 on the season, the Mineral Area College women’s basketball team will play two games in Sedalia over the weekend during the first of two Regional Classics in Region 16. The team went 1-1 in Mississippi last weekend, but according to head coach Gary Koch, there were some mental breakdowns from his group during the games. He said he hopes the team’s mental toughness can improve during the Regional Classic.

MAC will face the nation’s 20th-ranked team in Three Rivers Friday at 5 p.m. and then Moberly Saturday afternoon at 3 p.m. Both games from State Fair Community College in Sedalia can be heard on AM-800 KREI with pregame coverage beginning 15 minutes before tip-off.
