(Farmington, Mo.) A man and woman from Farmington were both taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington after being involved in a two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon in St. Francois County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident took place on Highway ‘F’ when a Dodge Dakota driven by 28-year-old Corey Bolger of Farmington was traveling too fast for conditions, ran off the right side of the roadway, and struck a culvert.

The Dakota then returned to the roadway and struck the front of a semi-truck driven by 44-year-old Eric Medley which caused the Dakota to overturn.

Bolger sustained minor injuries while his passenger, 25-year-old Jenifer Bolger, sustained moderate injuries.
