Man Injured In One Vehicle Jefferson County Accident Wednesday Evening

One person was injured in a one vehicle accident Wednesday evening in Jefferson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 56-year old Terry Stanfield of Hillsboro was behind the wheel of a Ford Escort, traveling southbound on Route B south of Butcher Branch Road.

The crash occurred when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway.

Stanfield and his Ford then struck a culvert and continued off the roadway, leading to the vehicle striking a concrete barrier and overturning.

Stanfield was taken to Mercy Hospital South to be treated for moderate injuries.
