Medical Episode Leads to Crash & Injuries for Park Hills Woman

(Leadington) A woman from Park Hills was injured early Tuesday morning in a one vehicle accident in St. Francois County.

The Highway Patrol says the crash took place on the entrance ramp to southbound Highway 67 from eastbound Highway 32 when 44-year-old Mary Bolte suffered a medical episode while driving a 2016 Jeep Patriot.

The Patriot ran off the right side of the road, struck a guardrail, ran off the left side of the road, struck another guardrail and overturned.

Bolte received moderate injuries and had to be taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington for treatment.
