Mental Health Run/Walk Coming to Salem in May

(Salem) Southeast Missouri Behavioral Health’s Show Me Hope crisis Counseling Program in Salem will host a new, fun event in May.

Jodie Richter is a crisis counselor at the behavioral health center in Salem which is located at 203 North Grand Avenue.

She says their event is set for Saturday, May 15th.

Richter says mental health issues can be a big problem that should not be taken lightly.

The mental health awareness walk/run will begin at 3 o’clock on Saturday afternoon, May 15th at the city park in Salem.
