Mineral Area College Board To Meet Today

(Park Hills) It’s going to be a busy day today for the Mineral Area College Board of Trustees.

There will be a groundbreaking for the Workforce Innovation & Education Center at nine o’clock on the Park Hills campus.

Following that, the board will meet in executive session.

The open portion of the meeting will begin at 11 o’clock where the board will get a report from college president Doctor Joe Gilgour.

A bid for concrete work with Brockmiller Construction will be considered along with approval of a five year cooperative agreement between the college and the department of natural resources.
