Mizzou Falls to Texas A&M 79-60

The Missouri Tigers Basketball team has fallen to 0-10 in conference play following Wednesday night’s 79-60 loss to the Texas A&M Aggies. The first half of the game saw the team’s best defensive effort in a while, with the Tigers even holding the lead 23-22 at one point. Unfourtunately, by halftime the Aggies found the way to get the upper hand and led 38-25. Mizzou started the second half strong though. A deep three from Nick Honor with just a little under 13 minutes left in the game cut the lead to just three points. Head Coach Dennis Gates recaps the play, and explains where things fell short for the Tigers.

The Tigers never got any closer to holding the lead, and spent the rest of the second half trying to slow down the Aggies, but ulitmately failed to do so. The Tigers are now 8-15 on the season, and A&M improves to 14-8 on the season, and 5-4 in the S.E.C. Mizzou will host the 15-8 Mississippi Bulldogs on Saturday evening. You can hear that game on AM-800 KREI and AM-1400 KJFF with pregame coverage beginning at 7:00.
