Monday morning fire near DeSoto city

(DeSoto) The DeSoto Rural Fire Protection District was the first to respond to an early morning house fire on Monday morning. Fire Chief Tom Fitzgerald says the call came in around 4 o’clock in the morning from Berry Dairy Road outside the DeSoto City limits.

Several local agencies provided assistance. There were no injuries reported and the house is a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
