More Stranded Drivers In July

(St. Louis) Triple-A Missouri responded to more than 43,000 calls in July for stranded drivers.

The auto club says that’s a five-year high for that month.

Forty percent of those service calls were about car batteries and tires.

Drivers are encouraged to get regular maintenance checks, including for oil changes, tires, and fluids.
