Mount Vernon Man Injured in Auto Accident in Dent County

(Salem, Mo.) A man from Mount Vernon was taken to Salem Memorial District Hospital after being involved in a one-vehicle accident Thursday morning in Dent County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident took place on Highway 32, five miles west of Salem, when an Isuzu box truck driven by 34-year-old Jeffrey Gibson traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence and a tree.
Gibson sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
