National Weather Service Confirms At Least Three Tornadoes

(Fredericktown) The National Weather Service in St. Louis was in southeast Missouri Monday studying the storms that rolled through the area on Sunday. Alex Elmore is a meteorologist with the weather service. He says they have determined there were three tornadoes that hit the area.

Elmore says teams will be back in the area today to determine if there were any other tornadoes that hit on Sunday. They’ll also look at the data they collected to make sure they have the right ranking assigned to the three tornadoes that did hit. Hear more with Elmore below.
