National Weather Service Says Heavy Rain Is On The Way

(Farmington) A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for the area starting on Friday and going into Saturday. Jayson Gosselin is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in St. Louis. He says a major storm system is on the way.

Gosselin says we’re looking at the possibility of a lot of rain.

It’ll be mostly a rain event for our area, but Gosselin says in other parts of Missouri and Iowa, they’re looking at the possibility of several inches of snow as we get into the weekend. Hear more about the weather below.
