New Restrictions because of Pandemic at Lake Wappapello & Clearwater Lake

(Wayne County) The two large recreation lakes in southeast Missouri have made some changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nancy Walk is part of the office support staff with Lake Wappapello State Park in Wayne County.

As for Clearwater Lake, also in Wayne County near Piedmont, campgrounds, playgrounds and beaches are closed until possibly June 1st.

However, boat ramps are open for fishermen and day-use parks are open for fishing off the shore lines.
