New Vineland Elementary Principal Announced

(De Soto) The De Soto #73 School District recently announced the next Principal of Vineland Elementary School.

Dustin Washam will take over the role on July 1st following Alex Mahn’s last day.

Washam began his career in education at Fair Grove R-10 School District, where he taught Math and Science to 6th and 7th graders. He currently works at the Farmington School District, where he served as the Dean of Students for two years and taught 8th grade.

Washam has a bachelor’s degree in education from Missouri State University, a master’s and specialist degree in education administration and superintendency respectively, from Southwest Baptist University.
