NFL Playoffs Back On Regional Radio Saturday With Divisional Round

The NFL Divisional Round of the playoffs begins Saturday afternoon on Regional Radio.

Our coverage starts at 3, leading up to a 3:35 kickoff between the Minnesota Vikings and the San Francisco 49ers.

The Vikings are the 6-seed in the NFC and had a 10-6 regular season before upsetting the New Orleans Saints last week.

The head coach of Minnesota is Mike Zimmer and he says the team is thrilled to be one of the last 8 remaining.

Meanwhile, the 49ers had a bye a week ago and are the number one seed in the NFC after a 13-3 regular season.

Their quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo says they’ll draw from the big games they’ve had so far as they approach their first playoff game.

The game to follow is Tennessee at Baltimore, but we will not have that game on Regional Radio due to the Missouri Tigers men’s basketball game against Florida.

Tune into AM 800 KREI and AM 1400 KJFF Saturday afternoon at 3, and also Sunday starting at 1:30 for the two playoff games featuring Houston-Kansas City and Seattle-Green Bay.
