North County Boys Basketball Coach Dan Johnson Earns 300th Career Win

(Bonne Terre) North County boys basketball coach Dan Johnson recorded his 300th win as a coach Thursday night. North County beat Arcadia Valley 77-49. He says he might not have been aware of it, except for the fact that he was starting his first year back at North County this season.

In his 17th year of coaching Johnson is averaging 17.6 wins per season with that number likely to rise with games left this year. He says he always wanted to be a coach.

Johnson says a few other factors lined up to make the night special for him.

The Raiders are 9-9 on the season. North County plays at Potosi Tuesday night.
