It’s a pivotal conference showdown on the MyMoInfo SportsStream Friday evening as the North County Raiders travel to face the DeSoto Dragons.

Despite an 0-2 start to the season, DeSoto knocked off Windsor 29-20 last week to start off MAFC Red division play 1-0.

Dragons head coach Chris Johnson says, while they’ve gotten plays from senior quarterback Briar Fischer and an offense on the rise, he’s looking for more from the defense as well.

The Dragons are looking change a trend on the field as well in this conference rivalry, as DeSoto has dropped six of its last 7 games against North County.
Johnson says, despite the struggles, his team is ready to finally knock off the Raiders.

North County is looking to avoid an 0-4 start, including an 0-2 start to league play, after a 56-40 home loss to Festus in Week Three.
Raiders head coach Brian Jones says they made plenty of big plays but gave up more.

But Jones believes his defense can start to turn it around against a lot of new faces for DeSoto.

North County and DeSoto kick off at 7 Friday.
Our coverage starts with the Flieg’s Equipment Pregame Show at 6 on the MyMoInfo SportsStream.
