Northwest High School Students Dismissed from Class Early after Threat was uncovered

(House Springs) High school students in the Northwest School District were dismissed from class shortly before 11am on Thursday after the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office concluded an anonymous threat sent via email was not valid.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Grant Bissell has more details.

Detectives continue the investigation to find the person or people involved.

According to Bissell, at last check the detectives were making progress in tracking down those responsible.

At this time, investigators don’t believe there is an immediate danger to the school.
