Northwest R-1 bond issue Proposition S passes

(Cedar Hill) Northwest R-1 School Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Hecktor says district patrons can expect a number of improvements to district facilities now that “Proposition S: Safety and Security for Our Students” was approved by voters Tuesday. Dr. Hecktor says security renovations will be made to school buildings.

Dr. Hecktor says the passage of the issue also means new playground equipment.

The Northwest R-1 School Board member Sherri Talbott is retiring and Michelle Coats was elected to fill the vacancy on the board.
