One Killed, Two Injured In Jefferson County Accident

(Barnhart) One person was killed and two others were seriously injured in a traffic accident Wednesday afternoon in Jefferson County.

The highway patrol says a Honda Accord driven by Kory Luke was driving west on Local Hillsboro Road when his vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree.

Kory was killed in the accident while 20 year old Steven Rewis of St. Louis and a 16 year old juvenile from Barnhart suffered serious injuries and were flown to St. Louis hospitals for treatment.

None of the three were wearing safety devices.
