Ozark Natural and Cultural Resource Center in Dent County Celebrates Earth Science Week
The Ozark Natural and Cultural Resource Center is celebrating Earth Science Week this week with a new exhibit. It contains samples of various gemstones, rocks, and minerals from the area, and a mining exhibit. Liz Condray is a volunteer with the ONCRC, and she says the exhibits were sourced by a handful of entities.

The current exhibits will be up all month long. Several events will be happening later in the month, including a grand re-opening of the exhibit hall in downtown Salem. Among those festivities is a meet and greet with artist David Spear, who painted a mural on the outside of the building, and a special geology demonstration.

The exhibit hall is located at 200 South Main Street in Salem.
