(Park Hills) The Park Hills Street Department has been busy clearing streets of snow, sleet and ice.

City Administrator Mark McFarland says the cold weather has made it a tougher than normal job.

McFarland says Park Hills now has to deal with extreme cold temperatures for the next several days.

Saturday and Sunday nights are predicted be the coldest nights right around zero. Daytime temperatures will continue to be cold through Thursday the 18th where we may reach 25 degrees.

We could get above freezing for the first time in a long time on Friday the 19th with the high temperature predicted to be right around 32.

It looks like we definitely escape freezing temperatures on Saturday the 20th as high temperatures are expected to be in the lower 40s.
