Park Hills teen hit with more sexual assault charges

A Park Hills teen has received additional charges for sexual assault.

18-year-old Alek Barrington was charged with statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy-deviate sexual intercourse involving a person less than 14 years of age.

The latest charge comes from a report filed by a man and his 12-year-old daughter for an incident in December 2018.

The Park Hills police report states that Barrington met the girl at Columbia Park and forced himself upon her in his vehicle, including touching her inappropriately.

Barrington was already in custody for 5 different charges of sodomy and a first-degree charge of endangering the welfare of a child involving drugs.

Barrington had 2 different reports of sexual assault involving minors filed against him in the last year.
