Paving work on Bailey Road in Crystal City wrapping up

(Crystal City) Residents in Crystal City have more than likely noticed the paving work on Bailey Road near Truman Boulevard, which closed the road to traffic. Crystal City City Administrator Jason Eisenbeis says they were able to come up with extra funds for this project and decided to move it forward quickly.

The paving work started this past Friday and there was short notice to the area businesses affected by the closure. However, Eisenbeis says the business owners were fine with it, knowing the work on that section of roadway was needed.

Jokerst Paving in Festus is completing the paving work, and it was expected to wrap up Wednesday or Thursday.
