Perryville High School Sets Graduation Date

As the state of Missouri slowly reopens, area high schools have the difficult task of honoring the graduating class of 2020 while keeping everyone safe.

Jeffrey Steffens in the principal at Perryville High School and he says they have a date selected.

Steffens outlines the precautions being taken to follow social distancing guidelines.

The school is going to Facebook live the ceremony so other family members like grandparents can watch from their homes.

Prom for Perryville is still up in the air.

Prom causes the students to be closer together and in larger groups than recommended making it more difficult to plan.
