Pevely Man Guilty of Sexually Abusing Young Girl

(St. Louis) A man from Pevely admitted Tuesday to recording his sexual abuse of a minor.
36-year-old Matthew Gamel says on at least four occasions, he recorded his sexual abuse of the victim.
She was under the age of 14 at the time.
He also acknowledged possessing more than 17-hundred media files containing child sexual abuse that he obtained online, in addition to the files documenting his sexual abuse of the girl.
Gamel pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of receipt of child pornography.
He will be sentenced May 22nd.
As part of the plea, both sides have agreed to recommend a sentence of 25 years in a federal prison.
