Pevely Police adds new much needed equipment

(Pevely) The Pevely Police Department is adding or in the process of adding updated equipment for their officers. Pevely Police Chief Mark Glenn says they added new computers in their vehicles and new uniforms are coming soon.

Chief Glenn says they recently received their order for new firearms.

The City of Pevely continues to work with the Board of Alderman and the Police Department to finalize their plans for their Proposition P ballot language. Proposition P will be asking voters to approve a sales tax increase to fund further improvements and increased salaries for the police department. The proposition will more than likely be placed on the April election ballot.
