(Potosi) Gasoline prices in Missouri are heading in the right direction according to Triple-A.
The average price for regular-unleaded in the Show-Me State is $3.58 a gallon.
That’s 9 cents lower than a week ago.
However, gas is relatively cheap right now throughout southeast Missouri compared to the rest of the state.
The highest average price is $3.80 a gallon in Miller County.
Taking a look at local gas prices by way of gasbuddy.com, Steelville may be the dividing line between relatively low prices and relatively high prices.
Gas can be purchased on the high side in the Floating Capitol of Missouri at $3.65 a gallon.
Travel Highway 8 35 miles eastward and gas in Potosi is the cheapest in the state at $3.21 a gallon.
Also, gas can be bought in Fredericktown for $3.22 a gallon, it’s $3.25 in Perryville and it’s $3.29 a gallon in Park Hills.
