Potosi Trojans Finding Their Stride

The Potosi Trojans have experienced a fantastic season. The Trojans are currently sitting at 14 wins and 3 losses having played some of the toughest teams in MAAA throughout the duration of the season. Their season began winning two of their first three as part of the FCNB Bank-It Championship before going undefeated for the majority of December. They then took part in the Bob Sechrest Christmas Tournament in Central, where they proceeded to go 2-2, ending their tenure in Central with a loss to the Festus Tigers. Head Coach Jackson Conaway talks about what he’s seen from his team so far.

The Trojans have started the new year out strong, defeating the likes of Central, Sainte Genevieve, and Union in overtime en route to a current six game winning streak. The MAAA Conference Tournament is coming up next week, and Coach Conaway describes what the tournament means for his squad.

Before the MAAA Tournament begins, there is still work to do for Potosi. Their next test is tomorrow night when they face the Farmington Knights.
