Red Cross Puts Out A Plea For Help

(Farmington) The American Red Cross is putting out a call for help. Mary Jane Thomsen is the executive director of the Greater St. Louis Chapter of the American Red Cross. She says concerns over the coronavirus have really hurt their blood collection efforts.

Thomsen says they are trying to develop a plan now to have the red cross set up at a specific location in a town to have a series of controlled blood drives over a several day period.
