Sheriff Marshak on active shooter readiness

(Hillsboro) In the aftermath of the active shooter tragedy in which ten people were killed at a grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, several law enforcement agencies are looking over their plans for a response if it would ever happen in their area. Jefferson County Sheriff Dave Marshak says something like this could happen anywhere at any time.
Sheriff Marshak in some cases, you just never know when a troubled individual snaps.
Sheriff Marshak says the agency alongside COMTREA has applied for a grant from the Jefferson Memorial Foundation to help with mental health issues.
The Jefferson Memorial Foundation will award the first round of grant applications for 2021 next month.
