(Jefferson County) Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies are no strangers to investigating various burglaries from across the county.

The division’s Detective Bureau is currently looking over a handful of burglaries that have taken place over the past month.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Grant Bissell says one of those cases is a burglary that occurred at a residence in the 8400 block of Oak Lane in Dittmer.

The loss is estimated at more than $1,800 to the owner.

The detective bureau is also investigating a separate burglary that has taken place at a home in the 6600 block of Valley Drive in Cedar Hill.

Authorities are also looking into a burglary that happened in the 2400 block of Hillsboro Valley Park Road in High Ridge.
