Six People Injured In Crash On U.S. 61 And Route M

Six people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on US 61 at Route M on Saturday night. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 15-year-old female juvenile from Barnhart was driving a 2017 Dodge Caravan and was making a left turn onto Route M from 61 and pulled into the path of a 2015 Chevy Tahoe driven by 35-year-old Randall Carver of Festus. The impact caused the Caravan to overturn. Both the 15-year-old female and her passenger a 14-year-old female from Barnhart were taken by ambulance to St. Louis Children’s Hospital with moderate injuries. Carver was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital South with minor injuries, and a passenger, 33-year-old Brittany Carver of Festus was taken to Mercy South with moderate injuries. There were two other passengers in Carver’s vehicle, a 10-year-old female and an 8-year-old female, and both were taken by ambulance to Mercy South with minor injuries. The accident took place around 9:40 on Saturday night.
