South Iron Volleyball Looking To Go Back To States

(Annapolis) The South Iron Volleyball Team made history last year, the Lady Panthers earned the most wins in school history and a 4th place finish in the Show-Me Showdown in Class 1. Head Coach Megan Williams enters her second year as the head woman. She reflects on the journey her team took to reach the Show Me Center.

Coach Williams says there’s a little pressure to recreate the success the Panthers had last year.

However, the 4th place finish also lit a fire under her girls to do even better this upcoming season.

While South Iron is one of the smallest schools in the area, Williams says they aren’t afraid to take on anyone.

South Iron’s season starts next Friday at Summersville, then will be at home versus St. Paul and Fredericktown the week after.
