St. Francois County assessor retiring

St. Francois County assessor Dan Ward will be retiring.
Ward told KREI he will not be stepping down immediately, but he will step aside at the end of this term.
Ward will have spent 14 years in office when his term comes to a close.
The election for a new county assessor will be this coming November.
Filing for the ballot starts in February and March.
