St. Francois County Fair Next Week

(St. Francois County) The annual St. Francois County Fair takes place next week. As always, livestock exhibits will be a big part of fair week. Riley Schrag is going to be a senior this year at Farmington High School and is a member of the Bear Creek Kids 4-H Club. She says she’ll be showing pigs this year as part of the Sale of Champions at the fair. She says she’s been preparing for the fair for quite awhile now.

And what will the judges be looking for in terms of an award winning pig?

Livestock will be checked in starting on Wednesday. The actual Sale of Champions is scheduled for next Saturday afternoon. J-98 will broadcast from the St. Francois County Fair, at the fairgrounds off of Highway 67, this Thursday and Friday.
