St. Francois County Health Center Director Turns in Letter of Resignation

(Park Hills) The director of the St. Francois County Health Center has decided to resign from her position.
Amber Elliott turned in a one month notice on Friday.
We asked why she decided to make this move.
We also asked Elliott if threatening, intimidating, or hateful comments from some members of the public regarding the coronavirus issue played any role in her decision to resign.
Just before the Covid-19 pandemic began, Amber Elliott had been promoted to director of the St. Francois County Health Center.
She had worked at the health department in Park Hills for the past five years.
Her last day on the job will be November 20th.
