St. Francois County Issues Public Health Alert

(Park Hills) The St. Francois County Health Center in Park Hills has issued a public health alert due to a possible COVID-19 community exposure.
Officials say that prior to being diagnosed, a COVID-19 person attended the Loomis Brothers Circus in Bonne Terre on June 24th.
The case was infectious at the time but not symptomatic.
Close contacts of the case have been notified, however, any person attending the event should monitor for symptoms of COVID-19 through July 8th.
If you attended the event, but are not a close contact, you don’t need to quarantine unless you develop symptoms.
If you become ill, they ask that you contact your medical provider.
