St. Louis man dies after car rolls into a lake

(Hillsboro) A St. Louis man is dead after a vehicle he was a passenger in, rolled into Lake Tishomingo on Wednesday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2015 Lexus RX 350 was stopped in a driveway on Mohawk Trail near Hillsboro. The unnamed driver exited the vehicle and the car began to roll backward and struck a deck. The impact caused the vehicle to rotate and began rolling down a steep grade and entered the lake. The vehicle was fully submerged and the occupant 86-year old John McKenzie was pronounced dead at the scene by Big River Ambulance personnel. The incident took place around 3:15 Wednesday afternoon.
