St. Vincent to Face Brentwood in Class 2 District 4 Championship
(CALEDONIA) The Boys Class 2 District 4 Tournament semifinals were played Thursday evening at Valley High School .  The first game of the night saw the one seed St. Vincent Indians face off against the four seed Crystal City Hornets.  St. Vincent used a couple of early buckets to grab the lead in the first half.

St. Vincent led at the half 32-21, and added on to the lead in the second half thanks to a couple of tough finishes underneath the rim.

Caleb Prost had 18 points, which helped the Indians win and advance to the district championship by a score of 68-49.  St. Vincent head coach Bruce Valleroy talks about some of the keys to victory for St. Vincent.

The second game was played by the two-seed Valley Vikings and the three-seed Brentwood Eagles. Brentwood never trailed, but the biggest lead of the night was only seven points. The Vikings continued to fight and make it a game late.

Valley would fall to Brentwood by a score of 46-42, Chase Declue of the Vikings led all scorers with 20 points. Valley head coach Jacob Bollinger shared his thoughts after the game.

The entire Valley roster is set to return next season. Brentwood will face St. Vincent for the Class 2 District 4 Championship in Caledonia on Saturday. You can hear the game on J-98 the Boot.
