State Ranked South Iron And Steelville Facing Off Tuesday Evening On J98

(Annapolis) Two state-ranked boys teams will clash in Tuesday’s coverage of high school basketball on J98. The Class 1, #1 South Iron Panthers are hosting the Class 3, #6 Steelville Cardinals.

The back-to-back state champion South Iron Panthers enter the game with a record of 21-3 and are led in scoring by senior Martez Burse, whose putting up 21 points-per-game. Coach Dusty Dinkins tells us how his team has been playing of late.

Post-season play starts next week for both teams. Last year, Steelville defeated South Iron 77-70 on the Cardinals’ court in the final week of the regular season. This year, Steelville are 20-3 and more experienced. Dinkins says it’ll be a good challenge before district play begins…
