State Rep Mike McGirl on New Sales Tax Bills

State Representative Mike McGirl is once again leading the House Ways and Means Committee at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City. There were two interesting bills dealing with sales tax that were the first to be discussed in this committee in the new 2024 session. The lawmaker from Potosi says the first one is health care related.

And McGirl says the other piece of legislation would benefit auctioneers.

During this legislative session, Representative McGirl will also serve on four other committees….Financial Institutions, Higher Education, Rules Committee for Legislative Oversight and the Special Committee on Property Tax Reform.
