Ste. Gen girls try to corral Cape Notre Dame for Class 4 District 1 hoops title

(Cape Girardeau, Mo.) The Ste. Genevieve Dragons are a win away from a district championship. Ste. Gen takes on Cape Notre Dame for the Class 4 District 1 title Thursday on the MyMoInfo SportStream. The Dragons have followed the lead of juniors Macy Reynolds, Marysa Flieg, Megan Aubuchon and Sydney Bumgardaner to a 25-1 record. Now head coach Jordanna Walk-Robison says it’s time to finish the job that the Dragons didn’t complete last year.
Ste. Gen lost the Class 4 District 2 title game last year to Central. Cape Notre Dame is 21-4 after cruising past Cape Central in the semifinals.
