Ste. Gen Senior Gavin Gross Grapples Onto Wrestling Dream Team
(Ste. Genevieve) After finishing 3rd at states in the 132-pound weight class in Class 2, Ste. Genevieve Senior Gavin Gross was named to the 2022 Regional Radio Dream Team for Boys Wrestling. Gross would win two matches at states and reach the quarterfinals, but would eventually fall to the eventual state champion.
Gross would roll in the wrestle backs, winning the 3rd place match by decision 1-0. He describes how the match went.
He finished his high school career with three district championships and two state medals. He says the key to his high school success started very early in life.
Gross says he won’t be going the traditional college route, instead, he will be going to trade school.
Gross finished with a 29-6 record in his senior season as a wrestler for Ste. Genevieve.
