Ste. Genevieve Baseball Sees Entire Team Return for Another Season

The Ste. Genevieve Dragons are coming off a unique season, one that despite them going 7-17 ending their season in a first round district tournament loss to the Potosi Trojans, also sees Ste. Genevieve return everyone on their team; not a single senior was on the team last season.  Manager Mike McDaniel says the momentum for the team begins with his pitchers controlling the strike zone.

There are six seniors on the team this season, as well as three juniors on the team, all of which got considerable varsity playing time last season.  Some of the players play multiple sports as well.

McDaniel is not worried about the players, but rather taking the season into three main chunks.

Ste. Genevieve opens its season with a double header at home tomorrow first playing the Orchard Farm Eagles at 11 am then playing the Hillsboro Hawks at 1:30 pm.
