Ste. Genevieve city council recognizes local artist for mural

At their November meeting, the Ste. Genevieve city council recognized a long-time artist and art teacher for painting a mural in the historic village.
Mayor Paul Hassler says the city gave Sweet Things Sweet Shop co-owner Joy French a certificate of appreciation.
The mural is located on the side of Quarry Workers Local Post 829 on the corner of 4th and Market Streets in Ste. Genevieve.
