Ste. Genevieve’s Chloe Staffen is Athlete of the Week

(STE. GENEVIEVE) Chloe Staffen, a softball player from Ste. Genevieve, is this week’s Regional Radio/Applebee’s of Farmington Athlete of the Week. The Dragons played in the Arkansas Blazer Blast last weekend, where Staffen batted .833. She went 5 for 6 at the plate with 3 singles, 2 doubles, 1 walk and 6 RBIs. In addition, behind the plate with 18 total chances she maintained a 1.000 fielding percentage. Staffen says the tournament was a lot of fun.

Staffen’s performance was outstanding, and helped her establish herself as one of the leaders on a young roster. Staffen shares how it feels to lead, and what the team is working on to start the season.

 For being named Athlete of the Week, Chloe Staffen will receive a T-shirt, certificate, and a voucher for a free entrée from Applebee’s of Farmington.
