Steelville’s Sydney Booker Scores a Dream Team Selection

(Steelville, Mo.) Sydney Booker, junior forward for the Steelville Cardinals basketball team, put up big numbers this year landing her a spot on the 2019 – 2020 Regional Radio Dream Team squad. Booker averaged 16 points, 8 rebounds while shooting 54.4 percent from the field this season, and she says it’s because of hard work put in during the off season.
Booker looked back on the Cardinals’ season and says the team turned a corner around the Holidays.
Looking to next season, the junior forward hopes her team will be able to get even better.
The Cardinals finished the season at 23-6 and winning a district title.
