Stolen vehicles and unlocked cars still happening

(Hillsboro) Jefferson County and the entire St. Louis region continues to see a rise in stolen vehicles and items being stolen from unlocked cars. Captain Brian Taylor with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reminds residents to take the proper precautions.
There were several thefts and two vehicles were stolen from the Timberwolf Subdivision in the Jefferson R-7 area on Sunday night. A suspect has been identified in those cases thanks to video surveillance.
